Living An Exceptional Life

I was listening to some leadership videos from Life Leadership on You Tube and a Jim Rohn video had come on. I almost shut down the video so I could listen to more Life Leadership, but I decided to listen and I'm glad I did. I love listening to this gentleman, he is such an inspiration to me.

I do not normally promote videos from other companies but it truly is about getting the right information out there for others to see and here. After all this is what we do in the Life Business. We utilize materials not just from Orrin Woodward, Chris Brady, and the rest of the policy council members or the round table members. We utilize material from all the great leaders that share their success principles. We read books and listen and learn from those like a Jim Collins, John Maxwell, Stephen Covey, or a Jim Rohn. We learn from all of these great leaders and many others past and present.

This is what Life Leadership is about and if I just reach one person and get them to understand that they have the ability to change the outcome of their life for the better, not just financially but in all areas of their life. Not just by reading and listening, but by applying that information into their life as well. Then I have done more than most. See, most of us just don't understand the ripple effect that this information that we have in Life Leadership has. Because any one individual can affect hundreds if not thousands of others.

Most of us are where we are in life because we listen to those around us. If you hang around drug dealers what are you going to eventually end up doing? If you hang out with bank robbers what are you going to eventually do? If you hang around people who smoke what are you going to eventually do? If you are getting all your information about success from those who aren't so successful then where do you think you are going to end up in life?

Look at it this way. If you hang around a lot of successful people what do you think might happen to you?

In Life we build communities as a team. No one is left alone to fend for themselves. That is not what Team and Life is about. We pride ourselves on the fact that we help others have success because we realize that by others succeeding then our business is more secure. We do this by getting you to understand that it starts by changing yourself. Leadership is achievable for anyone who is willing to change.

Imagine you three years down the road. Imagine what your life will look like because you decided to work on changing yourself for the next couple of years. Most of us are not programmed to think that far ahead in life. If you want to be successful you need to be able to think long term. Successful people don't become successful by not having challenges. They become successful by dreaming big enough to overcome those challenges. See, most of us quit on the journey to success because we are afraid. Afraid of failure. Afraid of what others might think.

In today's world everybody wants to look successful, but nobody wants to earn it. They think it should be handed to them and if somebody has more than them then somehow it's unfair. It's not unfair. It's fair when you have a chance and as long as we're around you'll have a chance.

That is what Orrin Woodward and the other founders of Life wanted. They wanted something that would give the average person an opportunity to have success in their lives. We do this as a TEAM.

Andrew Carnegie once said “Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”

I would rather have one percent of 100 people's efforts than 100 percent of my own.” — Andrew Carnegie

Watch This video by Jim Rohn if you have any desire for a better life, but don't just watch it. Learn from this information and apply it into your life.

God bless, Scott Johnson
